Our Home has a secure entrance while allowing residents the freedom to come and go as they choose. All visitors follow a strict signing-in procedure, and the immediate grounds are monitored by CCTV. Each resident’s room is fitted with a call point, giving them access to support 24 hours a day.
Residents are encouraged not to keep more than small amounts of cash. A petty cash system is in place, and any purchases from the mobile shop or services received can be added to your personal charge account for ease and security.
Absolutely, we encourage this. We simply ask that the care team is informed in advance so they are aware and can plan accordingly.

Yes, Being a nursing home we have qualified nurses on duty 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. This ensures that professional nursing care is always available whenever it’s needed, providing peace of mind for residents and their families
Our trained staff use various techniques to calm and reassure residents who may become confused or agitated. This includes validation therapy, distraction techniques, and creating a calm environment. Staff focus on identifying triggers and preventing distress where possible. If a resident regularly displays behaviours that suggest they would benefit from a more specialised environment we would discuss this with their family.
Our trained staff handle all medication management for residents who need assistance. For residents with dementia, we take extra care to ensure medications are taken as prescribed and monitor for any side effects or changes in condition.
