Nursing Care
At Stratton Court, we provide 24-hour nursing care for individuals who require a qualified nursing team. Our specialised nursing service ensures high-quality support for residents with complex needs or illnesses, all within a homely, non-clinical environment.
Whether recovering from an operation or needing long-term care, our Registered Nurses (RNs), Senior Carers (SrCs), and Care Assistants (CAs) deliver professional care with the utmost privacy, dignity, and respect.
We take pride in our holistic, person-centred approach. Care plans are personalised with input from residents, their families, and our multidisciplinary team – including GPs, physiotherapists, occupational therapists, speech and language therapists, specialist nurses, advanced nurse practitioners, continence teams, dieticians, and our experienced care staff.
At the heart of Stratton Court’s values is promoting independence and choice. Our person-centred nursing approach ensures these values are embedded in everything we do.

Reablement & Rehabilitation Care
Stratton Court Care Home’s Reablement and Rehabilitation Care is designed to support older adults in their recovery following falls, operations or periods of physical decline. This includes post-operative hip and knee surgery, stroke, specialist dementia care, multiple sclerosis and a wide range of other conditions. Our reablement and rehabilitation services are flexible, offering both short-term post-surgery support and longer-term care plans, with options for both day and residential stays.
Our dedicated care team works closely with residents to create personalised care plans that focus on rebuilding strength, confidence and independence. With access to specialist equipment and a supportive environment, we help individuals achieve the best possible quality of life.
We are committed to providing a compassionate and professional approach to rehabilitation, helping residents regain their confidence and where possible, return to independent living.

Respite Care
Everyone deserves some time for themselves. Whether you’re caring for someone and need a break, or you need extra support following an illness, taking a pause from your usual routine is essential for maintaining health and wellbeing.
At Stratton Court, we provide short-stay respite care for those who do not require long-term support. Stays can range from a few days to several weeks, depending on individual needs. Many residents return for respite care again, and some even choose to make Stratton Court their permanent home after experiencing life here.
Respite care can be planned or provided at short notice, offering valuable support whenever it’s needed.

Residential Care
At Stratton Court, we provide Residential Care for individuals who wish to remain as independent as possible while having 24-hour care and support available if needed. Our approach offers the flexibility to enjoy private time or socialise with other residents at their own pace.
Residential Care includes support with daily activities such as personal hygiene, dietary needs, mobility, elimination, and social engagement. This helps residents maintain independence, self-esteem, and a sense of purpose, enhancing their overall quality of life.
We aim to remove the stress and worry that can come with ageing, replacing it with new friendships, engaging activities, excellent food, and moments to enjoy life fully. At Stratton Court, growing older doesn’t mean slowing down – it’s about creating new memories and friendships to cherish.

Couples Care Suites
We understand that couples want to live together for as long as they can, even once their care needs start to differ.
There are many reasons why couples might consider one of our care suites in later life; one partner may develop a health condition requiring higher levels of care, or couples may simply have got to a stage in life where having people around them 24/7, helping them with any aspect of their day to day living, is a very attractive prospect. It can be a worrying time when living at home is no longer an option – but we can help.
Our spacious care suites are available for both couples and individuals, giving peace of mind and a sense of independent living whilst still being part of a fully supportive care environment.
Set within our beautiful care home, our care suites all have one bedroom, a separate sitting room, with an attached kitchenette, and a large en-suite bathroom. All suites can be furnished or unfurnished and come with the full range of care services and benefits.

Dementia Care
At Stratton Court, we have created a purpose-built dementia wing as part of our innovative dementia care service.
Our specialist dementia wing is bright and colourful, and includes thoughtful design features to help residents reminisce and remain as orientated as possible within their new home.
These thoughtfully designed resources help bring out the strengths and personalities of our residents living with dementia, ensuring they receive the highest-quality specialist care in a comfortable, engaging, and interactive environment.
